ERP Process & Application Manager (m/f/d) – Production & Supply Chain
Your Responsibilities
Do you want to do more than just manage an ERP system? Do you want to ensure that processes within it truly function? In this role, you will connect business areas, business processes, data, and ERP applications. You will help us utilize our ERP systems more consistently, simplify existing workflows, and actively shape our future end-to-end processes in production and supply chain.
You will work both conceptually and hands-on: You will engage with users to understand processes, translate requirements into actionable solutions, analyze data, and support changes until stable everyday use.
- Analyze existing workflows and identify where processes currently occur outside of easyWinArt, where media breaks arise, or where information is maintained multiple times.
- Collaborate with business departments to develop lean, practical target processes and ensure they are meaningfully mapped in the ERP system and actually used.
- Support our company transformation, particularly in the Design to Produce and Plan to Supply end-to-end processes – from requirements gathering and process modeling to testing, implementation, and stabilization.
- Moderate workshops, structure requirements and decisions, and translate business needs into understandable process descriptions, user stories, or functional solution concepts.
- Participate in the functional and technical data mapping between Comarch ERP XL and easyWinArt, analyze tables and data structures, and define field mappings, transformation, and validation rules.
- Utilize SQL for data analysis, plausibility checks, troubleshooting, and – depending on your experience – for simple views, queries, or mapping tables on Microsoft SQL Server.
- Plan and support system and process tests, coordinate feedback from key users, and assist with data cleansing, migration, go-live, and hypercare.
- Create understandable process and user documentation, conduct training sessions, and support key users and business departments in sustainably applying new workflows.
- Work closely with business departments, IT, the project team, and external ERP or implementation partners.
Your Profile
- Several years of practical experience with ERP systems – for example, as an ERP Business Analyst, Application Manager, Inhouse Consultant, Process Manager, or a highly experienced Key User.
- Good understanding of operational processes in production and supply chain, such as design, bills of materials, master data, planning, purchasing, warehousing, manufacturing, or delivery.
- Experience in gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and translating them into actionable system solutions together with business departments.
- Fundamental to good understanding of relational databases and the ability to read, adapt, or create SQL queries.
- Clear communication, structured work approach, and enjoyment in facilitating workshops, training sessions, and discussions with diverse audiences.
- Very good German and good English language skills.
What makes you stand out
- You think analytically and holistically, and can clearly structure complex processes, data, and system interdependencies.
- You communicate confidently with business departments, IT, management, and external partners, and can translate between business and technical perspectives.
- You handle changes and resistance with empathy, but can also assert necessary standards convincingly and bindingly.
- You work independently, pragmatically, and solution-oriented, and reliably drive initiatives to completion.
- You maintain an overview even with parallel tasks, dependencies, and changing priorities.
We also appreciate
- Experience with easyWinArt, Comarch ERP XL, or a comparable mid-sized ERP system.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, data mapping, interfaces, data migration, or master data management.
- Experience with end-to-end processes such as Design to Produce, Plan to Produce, Plan to Supply, Procure to Pay, or Order to Cash.
- Knowledge of BPMN, Lean Management, Requirements Engineering, Test Management, or Change Management.
- Experience in international or multi-site ERP projects.
