About the context
CI&T acts as a technological transformation partner and health platform with over 300 thousand users, working on the modularization project for the Digital Medical Prescription product. The operation follows the SAFe model, organized into an Agile Release Train (ART) with multiple Value Streams and dedicated squads—including the Prescription Squad, responsible for the core prescription, digital signature, and medical workflow integrations.
The project is in the assessment and implementation phase of a development pipeline orchestrated by AI (Agentic SDLC), covering everything from conception/design to deployment, with increasing adoption of GenAI in the stages of business rule analysis, dependency extraction, and development support.
Why this role exists
We are looking for a Senior Software Architect to lead the technical decisions of the Prescription Squad at a critical moment: the modularization of a legacy medical prescription system, with strict requirements for security, traceability, and regulatory compliance, while evolving toward a development pipeline supported by AI agents.
Important: If you reside in the Campinas Metropolitan Region, your presence at the city's offices will be mandatory, in accordance with the current attendance policy.

Key responsibilities
- Define and evolve the architecture of the digital prescription solution.
- Conduct solution reviews of the stack defined for modularization, mapping technical dependencies and coupling risks.
- Provide technical support for the conception and design phases (Discovery, Prioritization & Structuring), participating in PI Plannings, ART Syncs, and System Demos.
- Establish quality, security, and scalability standards for the medical prescription workflow (including digital signature and sensitive health data).
- Collaborate on the extraction of business rules and dependencies from the legacy system, including with the support of GenAI tools.
- Provide technical guidance to the team (Squad Leader, Tech Lead, developers) on technical design decisions, code reviews, and resolution of technical debt.
- Contribute to the project's technical governance by participating in forums such as the Technology Committee.
- Ensure engineering metrics (cycle time, refactory/rework, CFR/DORA) and the technical health of the backlog.
Requirements
- Solid experience as a Software Architect or Tech Lead in critical systems, ideally in healthcare, fintech, or regulated domains.
- Experience with microservices/BFF architecture, APIs and system integrations.
- Knowledge of sensitive data security (LGPD) and best practices for protecting health information.
- Familiarity with the modernization/modularization of legacy systems.
- Strong communication skills to navigate between deep technical discussions and conversations with business/product stakeholders.
- Openness to working in a context of increasing adoption of generative AI in the development cycle (Agentic SDLC pipeline).
- Practical experience with scaled agile methodologies (SAFe, ART, PI Planning) — preferred.
