About the opportunity
The Engineering team in the Platform squad is looking for someone, and we want you with us!
Your mission? Act as a technical reference in the evolution of a strategic platform, ensuring its quality, scalability, and operation.
Your day-to-day at Skeelo will be like this: *
- Technically lead medium-complexity initiatives, serving as a reference for more junior developers and contributing to the team's technical evolution. *
- Develop and evolve services using Node.js, as well as build and maintain APIs REST and GraphQL with a focus on quality, scalability, and performance. *
- Work in an event-driven distributed architecture, contributing to resilient, decoupled, and highly available systems. *
- Act in the evolution of service observability, using metrics, logs, and traces to support decisions and reduce incident resolution time. *
- Participate in code reviews, technical refinements, standard definition, and collaborate with Product, Mobile, and other teams, exploring automations and AI tools to increase productivity and efficiency.
To do this, you'll need to have: *
- Solid experience with Node.js and TypeScript, as well as proficiency in building APIs REST and/or GraphQL. *
- Experience with relational databases and NoSQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB), messaging, event-driven architecture, Redis, and caching mechanisms. *
- Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, RabbitMQ, and good software engineering practices. *
- Experience with observability using tools like Datadog, Kibana, Sentry, or similar. *
- Good communication, ease in sharing knowledge, supporting team growth, and technical influence.
And it would be great if you also had: *
- Experience with Fastify, Docker, and Kubernetes. *
- Experience with ElasticSearch/OpenSearch and high-volume, mission-critical platforms. *
- Experience with Server-Driven UI and BFFs. *
- Experience using AI tools in software development, such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar.
