For our Schwandorf location, we are looking for a C Embedded Software Developer (m/f/d) to strengthen our Research & Development Unit in the Electronics - Software team.
What will you achieve with us?
- Your main task is the independent programming of operating systems in C for machine control and applications in our seeding technology machine series.
- You can actively contribute your ideas and expertise, and together with a great team, you will develop pioneering solutions for innovative functions and functional changes.
- Software specification and documentation within the development process are also part of your responsibilities.
- Naturally, you will use standard processes such as our ticket system in Jira, a shared development environment in Visual Studio Code, version control in Git, and workflows like pull requests and code reviews.
You will also participate in the further development of our jointly created coding guidelines.
What are the best prerequisites for your start?
- You impress with your skills in C, regardless of how you acquired them (degree in Electrical Engineering, (Technical) Computer Science, or comparable degree programs or training paths, or even through self-study...).
- You are enthusiastic about hardware-near application development and have already gained many years of experience with C.
- Furthermore, you have in-depth knowledge of embedded systems and CAN, and ideally, you have also heard of ISOBUS.
- You enjoy working with new technologies – we look forward to developing them together.
- You have no difficulty solving problems, both independently and in a team, and you can quickly familiarize yourself with technical contexts.
- You also bring fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
- Knowledge of Linux systems is desirable, but not mandatory.
