Job Description

The digitalization of public administration depends on whether systems can be operated reliably, securely, and sovereignly. In our Public market segment, we are responsible for solutions that authorities and citizens use daily – in an environment with binding requirements for information security, data protection, and auditability.

  1. You are responsible for the product vision and product backlog for cloud-native solutions in the public sector and act as a translator between business needs, regulatory requirements, and technical feasibility.
  1. You maintain the product backlog and formulate user stories with such precision that they are verifiable.
  1. For AI-supported functions, you define measurable acceptance criteria.
  1. Together with architecture, data protection, and the specialist department, you decide where human review is mandatory and justify this to the client.
  1. You consider accessibility, data protection, and documentation requirements from the very beginning during prioritization, rather than as an afterthought.
  1. You bring together stakeholders from the specialist department to the authority management and manage expectations regarding the use of AI-supported functions.
  1. You develop AI-supported solution approaches and automations, critically evaluate their added value and limitations, and derive concrete impulses to further develop existing processes and establish new ones.
  1. Consulting means flexibility: Your project assignment depends on our clients and your project situation – you work throughout Germany in our offices, on-site at the client's location, and from home.

Qualifications

  1. You have a completed degree in (business) informatics, mathematics, economics, or a comparable field of study.
  1. You bring at least three years of experience in agile development projects in the cloud or cloud-native sector within the last five years, proven by at least three reference projects.
  1. Experience with agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban distinguishes you.
  1. You can demonstrate knowledge of cloud technologies and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  1. You have practical experience in managing product backlogs as well as creating user stories.
  1. You agree to undergo a security clearance (SÜ1) before starting the assignment.
  1. You impress with strong communication skills and a solution-oriented way of working.
  1. You know how to use AI tools in a targeted and reflective manner, critically evaluate results, and effectively incorporate current technological developments and innovative impulses into your work, projects, and client solutions.
  1. Good German and English skills (at least C1) round off your profile.

  • Flexible vacation planning: 30 days of vacation and the possibility to individually increase or decrease the annual vacation by up to 5 days.
  • SpenditCard: In addition to your salary, you have 50 euros of tax-free credit available monthly, which you can use flexibly for shops in your area.
