- You act as the crucial link between our code poets in development and IT operations, building the perfect bridge in the engine room and ensuring with great passion that fresh lines of code are quickly turned into an absolutely stable, reliable rollout.
- You independently take charge of designing, automating, and optimizing our build, test, and deployment processes, fueling our release pipeline from the very first code base deep into live operation.
- You bring our container platform to its full potential, continuously develop it, and shape smart self-service components that enable our development teams to deliver even faster, more securely, and completely unburdened, as if on rails.
- You set up our infrastructure in a fully reproducible and automated manner, nurture and maintain the technological foundation like your own project, and always keep the course transparent with clean, crystal-clear documentation.
- You bring structure and harmony to our deployment and release processes, drive the automation of recurring tasks with sporting ambition, and leave no chance for tedious routine work.
- You enjoy the absolute freedom of a 100-percent home office setup from your favorite location, which is why your place of residence doesn't have to be in Thuringia for our journey together.
- You shape your days completely autonomously, as nothing stands in the way of part-time employment with us, as long as you share at least 30 hours of your valuable time and energy with us as a team each week.
What you should bring
- You have a strong foundation through a technical degree, a corresponding apprenticeship, or tangible, passionate practical experience in the IT environment, with at least 3 years of valuable professional experience in software development or IT administration running like a common thread through your resume.
- Modern DevOps technologies are your true passion – your tech heart really starts beating with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, GitLab, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and you master at least one scripting or programming language (like Python, Bash, Java, or Go) with absolute confidence.
- When faced with tricky challenges, you immediately think of automated, script-based solutions, possess a flexible, logical mind, and are never thrown off course by complex system puzzles.
- You communicate clearly and appreciatively at an excellent German level (at least C1), as German is our internal team language for intensive, peer-level exchange and close collaboration in the virtual engine room.
- Have you already gained initial experience in the public cloud (Google Cloud and/or AWS) or have you already navigated the agile waters of software development? For us, that's the absolute cherry on top, giving you an immediate flying start in the team.
- Your initial experiences with agent-based software development (like CLI-based AI programming via Claude Code or Codex) or your desire to work in the future-oriented field of Vibe coding are very welcome to be practically applied and lived out with us.
