AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY INCLUDE
- Software Development: You will develop and implement software solutions in various programming languages such as Java and others.
- Cyber Defense & Analysis: You will assist in identifying, evaluating, and deriving appropriate measures for security-relevant events.
- Networks & IT Systems: You will gain insights into network architectures, access protection, firewalls, and other technologies essential for secure IT infrastructures.
- Digital Forensics & Offensive Security: You will learn methods used to analyze security incidents and to systematically investigate potential vulnerabilities.
- Data Protection, IT Law & Compliance: You will learn about the role of legal requirements, data protection, and security guidelines in daily work and how they are practically implemented.
- Combination of Theory and Practice: Participation in lectures at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University at the Mannheim campus and practical phases at DATEV in Nuremberg.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Qualifications: You have a general or subject-restricted university entrance qualification with good results, or meet the admission requirements of the university.
- Passion for STEM: You are enthusiastic about topics such as mathematics, computer science, IT security, and digital technologies.
- Experience: Initial practical experience in computer science, cyber security, or a programming language is advantageous, but not required.
- Digital Affinity: You are interested in digital trends, online security, and the IT industry, and are eager to help develop them further at DATEV.
- Analytical Mindset: You enjoy solving complex problems, recognizing patterns, and systematically evaluating security risks.
- Teamwork Skills: You enjoy working in a team as well as taking on tasks independently and communicating technical topics in an understandable way.
