About the opportunity
The Publisher squad's Engineering team needs someone, and we want you with us!
Your mission? Act as a technical reference in the evolution of a strategic platform, ensuring its quality, scalability, and operation.
Your day-to-day at Skeelo will be like this:
- Develop and evolve functionalities using Node.js, TypeScript, and React, working on both the backend and the frontend, and when necessary, supporting evolutions in the application.
- Build and maintain APIs REST and GraphQL, ensuring efficient integrations, code quality, and an excellent user experience.
- Participate in platform support, performing troubleshooting, deployments, monitoring, and assisting in resolving production incidents.
- Collaborate on technical decisions, code reviews, and refinements, contributing to the evolution of architecture, infrastructure, and application quality.
- Work together with Product, Design, Mobile, and other areas to transform business needs into scalable solutions, exploring AI tools to increase productivity and efficiency.
Minimum requirements
To do this, you'll need to have:
- Experience with Full Stack development using Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React.
- Experience in developing and consuming APIs REST and/or GraphQL, as well as knowledge of componentization, state management, and responsive interfaces.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Knowledge of versioning with Git, software engineering best practices, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting of production applications, as well as good communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
And it would be great if you also had:
- Experience with Next.js, Fastify, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of messaging, event-driven architecture, Redis, and caching mechanisms.
- Experience with observability using Datadog, Kibana, Sentry, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, BFFs, and Server-Driven UI.
- Experience with frontend testing using React Testing Library, Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Experience using AI tools in software development, such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar.
