As Head of Product & Engineering, you will bring product and technology together, get hands-on, and make a real impact in a small, startup-style team – with zollsoft backing you up.
Where you can get involved
- At No-Q, you hold the reins: You are responsible for product strategy and technical development from the initial idea to release and operations. You will shape the product vision together with our management.
- You translate the needs of pharmacy teams into well-thought-out software solutions, develop concepts, formulate tickets, and keep the product roadmap and backlog on track.
- You don't just make architectural decisions on paper. You support code reviews and roll up your sleeves when needed – using Ruby on Rails and Vue.js.
- You take on the professional leadership of our agile development team, organize collaboration using Scrum or Kanban, and support your colleagues in growing beyond their current capabilities. You will also help shape further team expansion.
- Together with our DevOps team, you ensure that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes – from optimized CI/CD pipelines to the deployment and operation of our software.
- For you, AI is not just a nice extra, but part of modern software development. You will develop an AI-first workflow with the team and lead the way in using new tools.
- Gut feeling is good, data is better: Using KPIs, user feedback, and product data, you find out what works and which next steps will truly move No-Q forward.
- Whether it's pharmacies, partners, or internal teams: You bring different perspectives together and ensure that requirements turn into real product improvements.
- You work full-remote on a full-time basis (40 hours per week) and help shape No-Q from wherever you are most productive.
What you should bring with you
- You have already taken responsibility for the development of a software product as a Technical Product Manager, Product Owner, Tech Lead, Head of Engineering, or in a comparable role – ideally in a SaaS or cloud environment.
- You come from a software development background yourself and can still get involved in the code today. Ideally, you bring experience with Ruby on Rails; Vue.js is a plus.
- APIs, relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL, software architecture, and cloud services are part of your technical toolkit. You can make sound architectural decisions and communicate them clearly.
- You don't just think in terms of features, but in solutions that truly help customers. User interviews, feature tracking, and competitive analyses help you with your decisions – and when data is scarce, you remain pragmatic and capable of taking action.
- You have already professionally led or intensively supported a development team. You are familiar with agile methods like Scrum or Kanban from practice and know how to move people and projects forward.
- AI tools like Claude or Cursor have long been part of your daily development routine. You use them routinely and are eager to establish new AI workflows together with your team.
- Experience in the healthcare sector, with regulated data, or security standards like GDPR, C5, and ISO 27001 is a big plus. Even better if you are already familiar with the pharmacy market, the e-prescription (E-Rezept), or the telematics infrastructure (TI).
- Are you also familiar with Kubernetes, DevOps, or DevSecOps? Even better!
- To really get settled with us, you have fluent command of German at at least a C1 level.
