About the opportunity
Procurion GmbH is looking for an Integration Manager (m/f/d) to provide professional and technical support for the integration of modern e-procurement solutions, such as Coupa or Onventis, with our clients' ERP and financial systems.
In this role, you are not primarily a developer, but rather the central interface between the client, consulting, and technical implementation. You understand business processes as well as the fundamental technical aspects of system integration and ensure that business requirements are translated into clear, technically feasible integration concepts.
Your Responsibilities
As an Integration Manager, you will take responsibility in our implementation projects for the design, coordination, and alignment of the necessary interfaces between e-procurement, ERP, and other business applications.
Your tasks include in particular:
- Analyzing, together with our clients, which interfaces are required along the relevant business processes and which data must be exchanged between systems.
- Advising the client on the selection and evaluation of suitable integration technologies and methods, for example REST APIs, web services, file-based, or middleware-based integrations.
- Defining the integration architecture and the responsibilities of the involved systems together with the client and the project team.
- Coordinating the professional and technical alignment between clients, consultants, external partners, and developers.
- Developing and coordinating the mapping between the involved systems, for example for master data, order data, invoice data, or financial data.
- Translating business requirements into technically unambiguous requirements and interface specifications, thereby providing a solid foundation for the developers.
- Supporting the technical implementation, clarifying open questions, and ensuring that the developed interfaces meet the agreed-upon requirements.
- Coordinating integration and end-to-end tests together with the involved project teams.
- Supporting the continuous further development and standardization of our integration solutions and procedural models.
Your Profile
You do not need to be a software developer. However, you should understand technical contexts well enough to discuss them with developers on an equal footing while simultaneously being able to explain complex technical topics to our clients in an understandable way.
Ideally, you bring with you:
- Experience in the design and coordination of integrations and interfaces between business applications
- A good understanding of business processes, particularly in purchasing, procurement, invoice processing, and/or finance
- Experience with or understanding of e-procurement systems such as Coupa, Onventis, or comparable solutions
- A good basic technical understanding of APIs, REST, web services, JSON, XML, authentication methods, and middleware solutions
- A basic understanding of data models and data mapping, as well as the ability to structure business data requirements between different systems
- Strong ability to structure business and technical requirements and bring different stakeholders together
- Strong communication skills and a confident demeanor when dealing with clients, partners, and technical teams
- Very good German and English language skills
- Ideally, experience with Microsoft Azure Integration Services, for example Logic Apps or Azure Functions
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, or comparable solutions is an advantage
