Goal of your position
In this role, you will be the connecting interface between IT and our business departments. You will understand the requirements and challenges of our business departments, analyze existing processes, and develop suitable digital solutions from them. You will accompany projects from the initial idea through the selection or conception of the appropriate solution to successful implementation.
Your Responsibilities
- Consulting business departments on the digitalization and optimization of business processes
- Planning, managing, and successfully implementing digitalization initiatives and software development projects
- Capturing, structuring, and evaluating business requirements, and developing suitable IT and digitalization solutions together with business departments, development teams, and external partners
- Analyzing and documenting business processes, applications, and technologies, as well as identifying optimization, automation, and digitalization potentials
- Evaluating and selecting suitable software solutions and technologies, considering business, technical, and economic requirements, as well as creating recommendations for action based on market analyses
- Coordinating and managing project-related service providers, as well as ensuring goal-oriented and timely implementation
- Central point of contact for governance and project documentation
- Monitoring and optimizing existing integrations, as well as ensuring high data quality and consistency
Your Personality
Your Profile
- Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in IT Solutions, IT Consulting, Business Applications, or Digitalization
- Experience in leading and managing complex IT projects
- Strong understanding of business processes and their digitalization and automation
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams and external service providers
- Confident demeanor, as well as strong communication, moderation, and organizational skills
- Strategic mindset paired with a pragmatic, hands-on mentality
- Very good German and ideally good English skills, both written and spoken
