Java Backend Developer at ActiveViam and Cubos OLAP (3+ years)
We are looking for a Java Backend Developer to work on projects for the financial market, focusing on analytical platforms, risk processing, and solutions based on OLAP cubes. The professional will work with ActiveViam, Java, Python, and technologies focused on market risk calculation in a highly complex environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using Java and Python;
- Work with the ActiveViam platform for developing analytical solutions;
- Develop scripts and automations in Unix environments (Shell Script);
- Work with analytical databases based on OLAP Cubes (Online Analytical Processing);
- Participate in the implementation of solutions related to Market Risk management;
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in the evolution of applications and processes.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Java Backend Developer;
- Experience with Java and Python;
- Knowledge of J2EE (Java Enterprise Edition);
- Experience with Shell Script in Unix/Linux environments;
- Experience with the ActiveViam platform;
- Knowledge in analytical databases based on OLAP Cubes (Online Analytical Processing);
- Knowledge in Market Risk, including:
- Sensitivity calculations;
- VaR (Value at Risk);
- English level B2 (advanced).
- Spanish B2
Position Conditions
- 100% remote work;
- Mandatory availability for future relocation to Portugal or Spain, if necessary due to project, company strategy, or legal requirements;
- While in Brazil, the work will be performed entirely remotely;
