About the opportunity
We are looking for a Java Backend Developer to work on financial messaging solutions in a technically complex environment. The professional will participate in building microservices, integrating with messaging platforms, and adopting Generative Artificial Intelligence to optimize the software development cycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain microservices using Java and Spring Boot;
- Implement solutions for financial messaging transformation and processing;
- Integrate applications with messaging brokers and distribution channels;
- Design and optimize queries in relational databases;
- Participate in CI/CD processes and support incident resolution in production;
- Work together with Architecture, QA, DevOps, and Business teams;
- Perform code reviews and provide technical support to junior professionals;
- Contribute to the adoption of Generative AI technologies, promoting greater productivity and automation in software development.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Backend development with Java and Spring Boot;
- Minimum of 4 years of experience using Git;
- Experience with messaging brokers, such as Kafka, IBM MQ, or similar;
- Experience with relational databases, such as Oracle and PostgreSQL;
- Development of REST APIs and microservices architectures;
- Knowledge in Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), including:
- AI-powered development assistants;
- Prompt Engineering;
- Evaluation of responses generated by LLMs (Large Language Models);
- English B2
- Spanish B2
A Plus
- Experience in the financial, banking, or payment processing sector;
- Knowledge of financial messaging standards (ISO 20022 and SWIFT);
- Experience with Amazon S3 and/or Redis;
- Integration of AI solutions via APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Gemini, and Claude);
- Knowledge in RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation);
- Development of AI Agents;
- Workflow automation using AI;
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
Position Conditions
- 100% remote work;
- Future relocation to Portugal or Spain is mandatory if required due to project, company strategy, or legal reasons;
- While in Brazil, work will be performed entirely remotely;
