About the Opportunity
Java Backend com OpenShift e PostgreSQL
We are looking for a Java Backend Developer to act in the development and maintenance of mission-critical applications, using microservices architecture and modern technologies. The professional will be responsible for developing scalable, secure, and highly available solutions, working together with multidisciplinary teams in an agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud;
- Develop and consume REST APIs;
- Model and optimize queries in PostgreSQL databases;
- Perform deployments and administer applications in OpenShift;
- Integrate Backend services with Frontend applications developed in React;
- Participate in code reviews, unit tests, and continuous integration;
- Analyze incidents and implement performance, scalability, and security improvements;
- Work together with Architecture, QA, DevOps, and Product teams.
Mandatory Requirements
- Solid experience in Java Backend development;
- Knowledge of Spring Boot and Spring Cloud;
- Experience with Microservices architecture;
- PostgreSQL databases;
- Docker containers;
- OpenShift platform;
- Development and integration of REST APIs;
- Version control using Git;
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum and/or Kanban).

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with React;
- Knowledge of CI/CD, especially using GitHub Actions;
- Experience in Cloud environments (AWS and/or Microsoft Azure).
Position Conditions
- 100% remote work;
- Future relocation to Portugal or Spain is mandatory if required due to project, company strategy, or legal requirements;
- While in Brazil, the work will be performed entirely remotely;
