As part of the "Data Intelligence Platform" team, you can help shape the ML/AI-driven future of data analysis in the REWE Group. Your area of responsibility ranges from the exploration, evaluation, and integration to the operation of technologies in the fields of Analytics, Machine Learning, and Generative AI. Whether in administration, production, logistics, or in the store: The Data Intelligence Platform significantly drives enablement within the company, creating added value for customers, ensuring supply security, and preventing food waste with these technologies.
Tasks that will advance you
- You work in an agile, self-organizing, and cross-functional team.
- Together with your team, you take responsibility for the provision and operation of platforms for analytical databases, Machine Learning, and generative AI.
- You will independently shape the development of the platform and ensure its integration into the existing system landscape.
- You develop solution architectures, implement them, and always keep the big picture in mind.
- You implement automated self-services with a modern tech stack to optimize the usability of the platforms.
- You support our specialist teams in using the platforms and provide best practices.
Minimum requirements
Features that define you
- You have a completed degree in (Business) Informatics or a comparable qualification.
- You have several years of professional experience in Platform, Software, DevOps, or Data Engineering.
- An agile mindset and enjoyment of independent teamwork characterize you.
- You have sound knowledge in at least one programming language, ideally Python.
- Practical experience with cloud tools such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks for analytical data processing is among your skills.
- You are familiar with IaC technologies like Terraform, CI/CD, and working in cloud service providers like GCP or Microsoft Azure.
- Hands-on experience in MLOps or GenAI projects completes your profile.
