About the opportunity
Your Role
Your Responsibilities
- You develop features from idea to live: understand the problem, design the solution, implement, deliver
- You shape UI and UX – no finished design lands on your desk, you help decide what a feature looks like and how many clicks it takes
- You test what you build – along real shipment and customs cases, as part of development rather than an acceptance step at the end
- You work with our AI-powered tooling and get the most out of it
- You talk directly with customers, carriers, and internal departments – short paths, no forwarded requirements
- You make the decisions in your area yourself and have experienced colleagues by your side for larger topics
- You get to know the business world between booking and delivery: Incoterms, HS codes, customs tariffs, volumetric weight, transit times, scan events – and build the features that make them invisible to everyone else
We work with a modern, up-to-date stack — PHP/Symfony in the Backend, Vue in the Frontend.
Your Profile
- Around three to five years of experience in software development – but we don't count the years, we look at what you've built
- You have independently developed and launched features – from the first sketch to the moment someone uses them
- Solid understanding of web and Backend systems, external APIs, and relational databases
- An eye for UI and UX: You notice when an interface gets in someone's way and change it instead of just noting it
- High standards for testing – what you deliver, you've taken apart beforehand
- You work with AI support and judge for yourself whether the result is effective
- You see things through to the end – including documentation and what comes after launch
- You enjoy working closely with people outside of development and can handle a carrier conversation about processes rather than technology
- Good German and English skills
- Experience in the logistics industry is a plus, but not a requirement – you'll learn the business topics with us
