Product Owner (d/m/w) - Security Experience
Company Description
“I believe that security is only truly strong when it works simply for people. I want to design products that protect users – without burdening them.” Does that sound like you? Do you love solving customer problems and developing products that create real added value? Then become part of our Lexware team and shape the future with us!
With Lexware Office, we support over 450.000 small and medium-sized businesses in Germany – and the number grows daily. As a Product Owner (d/m/w) - Security Experience, you will shape the central access to our products. You will be responsible for ensuring that who can do what can be regulated simply and securely. Your work will ensure that the company data of entrepreneurs in Germany is optimally protected. Together with your cross-functional Scrum team, you will bring your ideas directly to our users and create solutions that inspire.
Our office in Freiburg im Breisgau is the ideal place for collaboration and creative exchange. That's why it's important to us: You will work with us on-site at least one day a week. And because things sometimes need to move quickly, you should also be able to come to the office more often if necessary. How you divide your time between the office and home office beyond that is decided together with your team.
Job Description
- You will develop and be responsible for the product vision and roadmap to optimally protect our customers' company data
- You will translate market and customer requirements into clear epics, stories, and backlog items
- You will regularly talk to customers, identify their needs, and derive exciting features from them. You will prioritize transparently based on customer benefit, business value, and technical effort
- You will work closely with Dev, UX, and Scrum Master in a cross-functional Scrum team, driving both discovery and delivery
- You will use data, customer feedback, user tests, and AI-powered tools to make informed decisions and continuously improve your product area
- You will act as an empathetic translator, connecting people from different contexts and disciplines. With your excellent communication skills, you will collaborate with teams, stakeholders, and service providers, and maintain focus on the essential – our customers – even in complex environments!
Qualifications
- Solid experience with web-based SaaS products as well as in the areas of account security, identification, and authorization management
- A strong affinity for the software environment and a deep understanding of all tasks along the development chain
- The ability to find good trade-offs in conflicting requirements (e.g., ease of use vs. security)
- Enjoyment of actively shaping processes in a rapidly growing, agile environment
- Experience in agile structures (Scrum) and several years of experience as a Product Owner. You are accustomed to communicating at different stakeholder levels and translating between them
- Our team language is German, so very good German skills (at least C2) are a must
We rely on team recruiting – our team conducts the interviews themselves. We look forward to getting to know you.
Alexander, Daniel, Marco, and Nicole – the dev team, united by fun, creativity, and a passion for tinkering
Stefanie – our UI/UX designer, who ensures a great user experience with a strong focus on users
Janika – our Scrum Master, who always has creativity, collaboration, and team spirit on the agenda
Christian, your predecessor, will focus more on cross-team collaboration in the future and will support you during onboarding
