Job Objectives
The Project Coordinator for Innovation Ops 4.0 plays a key role in leading, driving, and influencing key stakeholders, integrating different areas to collaborate in the success of developing new technologies related to the Operations 4.0 initiative. The Project Coordinator 4.0 is responsible for maintaining the portfolio of new technological solutions to meet Operations demands, which will subsequently become potential projects for rollouts.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor the progress of proof of concepts/validation of new ideas (POCs), pilots, tests, etc., from related areas (Corporate and local) to ensure the fulfillment of deliverables and validations.
- Monitor development timelines in conjunction with the area's PMO, Plant, and teams, considering all items and major deliverables to be met.
- Maintain alignment and provide updates on development status with the Regional Manager of the region, Ops Project Coordinators 4.0 (Implementation), and key leaders (Corporate and Local) through meetings.
- Establish meeting schedules for updates (weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly).
- Lead meetings with Automation, IT, Projects, Data Science, and other areas (local or corporate) for updates and monitoring of timeline adherence.
- Responsible for communication with the Pilot Unit(s) classified as “Lighthouse,” ensuring employee awareness of 4.0 developments and their respective updates, considering different communication channels in alignment with Ops Project Coordinators 4.0 (Implementation).
- Prepare and communicate with the Ops 4.0 project implementation team to ensure the success of standardization and the execution of actions.
- Promote integration between corporate and local areas to foster better synergy, communication, and alignment.
- Mitigate issues through discussions with the team and the Regional Leader 4.0.
- Report on the progress of the entire development scope with necessary stakeholders.
- Maintain open and collaborative communication with other teams to ensure alignment and calibration regarding the purpose, scope, and potential benefits of the developments.
- Prospect for new partnerships and new technologies that meet business demands.
- Participate in Intellectual Property processes for developed solutions.
- People management: select, train, and develop the team.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Automation, or Computer Science
- Advanced English and Spanish (desirable)
- Knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures related to operations technology in industrial segments
- Knowledge of agile project methodologies
- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement
- Availability for travel
- Desirable knowledge in projects related to Industry 4.0
