Job Objective
Ensure the technical and functional quality of our web and mobile products through the design, execution, and rigorous follow-up of test cases. The QA Engineer will be responsible for the timely detection of defects, correct regression management, and validation of releases/hotfixes to deliver high-value and stable software to the end customer.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and Execution: Create, update, and execute functional test cases for Web and Mobile applications.
- Quality Management in Releases: Design and execute Smoke, Sanity, Regression tests, and validations for critical releases (Hotfix).
- Defect Management: Identify, document, prioritize, and track bugs and evidence using Jira and XRay.
- Quality Metrics: Implement and analyze metrics to continuously measure and improve the quality of the development team's deliverables.
- Release Control: Coordinate the validation and approval of production deployments with clear acceptance criteria.
Profile Requirements
Technical Experience (Hard Skills)
- Proven experience in functional testing in Web and Mobile environments.
- Expert proficiency with test management tools: Jira and XRay.
- Solid knowledge of test types and levels: Smoke test, Sanity, Regression, Hotfix.
- Experience structuring and documenting comprehensive test cases/scenarios.
- Proficiency in defining and tracking software quality metrics.
Soft Skills
- Organization in tracking tasks and evidence.
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking to detect edge cases.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with Developers and Product Owners.
