QA Engineer
Responsibilities
- Perform manual and automated testing across web and mobile applications
- Design, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios
- Identify, document, and track defects throughout the software development lifecycle
- Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure high-quality software delivery
- Validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and test strategy definition
- Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing activities
- Ensure applications meet business requirements and quality standards *
- Support release validation and deployment activities
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, Developers, and Business Analysts
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices
- Ensure timely reporting of testing progress, risks, and issues
Skills
- Degree in Computer Science or in similar areas.
- Up to 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance
- Experience both with manual testing and automating tests
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices
- Experience designing and executing test cases and test scenarios
- Experience with defect management and bug-tracking tools
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Fluent in English - written and spoken (mandatory).
- ISTQB certification is a plus
