YOUR ROLE
- Develop Software Solutions: You develop software solutions in agile teams for our customers within SAP Commerce Cloud or Composable Storefront, specifically using AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor) to elevate quality and speed. You discuss requirements with customers, analyze them, and can map them to the standard. You actively contribute ideas on how AI can improve the customer's commerce process.
- Integrate AI into Commerce Solutions: You evaluate and integrate AI functionalities (e.g., SAP Joule, GenAI services on BTP, RAG architectures, or external LLM-APIs) into commerce solutions – from personalized product search and intelligent recommendations to AI-powered B2B checkout processes.
- Integration: You confidently integrate via SAP CPI/BTP into S/4 or other CX products and recognize where AI-powered data pipelines or intelligent process automation create added value.
- Architecture: You are very familiar with the standards, evaluate and use them accordingly, but also create your own solutions when necessary (with an eye for where AI components can meaningfully fit into the overall architecture).
- Cloud Technologies: You are familiar with the SAP BTP Cloud Platform, know the relevant tooling, and understand which AI services (e.g., AI Core, AI Launchpad, Vector Engine) are available in the SAP ecosystem and how to use them.
- Lead & Enablement: You enjoy taking the lead, convincing the team with your ideas, and fostering an AI-first mindset. You help team members integrate AI tools meaningfully into their daily work.
YOUR PROFILE
- Technical Knowledge and Practical Experience: You bring relevant experience in the field as well as profound technical knowledge in SAP Commerce Cloud including integration / BTP or SAP Composable Storefront.
- Software Development: You are well-versed in software development with Java and Spring or Angular/TypeScript and are open to new technologies and AI-related frameworks.
- Deployment and Cloud: Experience with GitLab/GitHub, SonarQube, (SAP-)Cloud, Dynatrace, and an understanding of how AI models and services are integrated into CI/CD pipelines also characterize your profile.
- Architectural Understanding: You think in terms of system boundaries, data flows, and scalability, and you know how AI components can be cleanly integrated into a composable commerce architecture.
- AI Competence: You have practical experience using AI in the development process and ideally have had initial exposure to LLM integration, prompt engineering, or AI-powered commerce features (search, recommendations, chatbots).
- Language Skills: Very good German and English skills
