Your tasks
As an SAP MDG Architect (w/m/d) in our SAP Platforms, you will shape the next generation of SAP transformations at our locations in Germany from the very beginning. Together with our clients, we are paving the way into the cloud, AI, and platform era – from strategy and architecture to productive operation. With your focus on Master Data Management, diverse tasks await you in our team and the opportunity to actively shape sustainable changes:
- You develop company-wide data governance and master data management architectures that serve as the basis for scalable business processes, analytics, and AI applications.
- In global rollouts, you define MDG models, design the target architecture for master data for materials, business partners, and finances across processes, domains, and system boundaries, and ensure the integration of business, IT, and data management.
- You act as lead architect between SAP MDG, SAP S/4HANA, and connected systems (CRM, EWM, PLM, etc.) and ensure innovative data synchronization and distribution solutions.
- Together with our development teams, you define WRICEF objects, create technical specifications in the MDG context along the entire SAP Activate phases, and evaluate new technologies, data platforms, and AI innovations regarding their benefits for data management, data quality, and governance strategies.
- You are in close contact with business users, SMEs, and IT leadership teams to elevate the topic of Data Governance into the digital age.
Your skillset
- You have practical project experience with SAP MDG and SAP S/4HANA, as well as knowledge of data models, data governance, and master data processes. Experience with SAP-MDG or SAP-S/4HANA implementations, as well as with solutions like Informatica or Stibo Systems, is advantageous.
- You bring knowledge in Process and Workflow Modelling, BRF+, BAdIs, UI Modelling, MDG Consolidation, and Mass Processing, and have applied this practically in SAP projects.
- You understand the requirements of modern AI and analytics initiatives and can define the necessary data, governance, and architecture principles for their successful implementation. You also have experience in managing and leading ABAP development teams. Very good German and English skills (C1) and willingness to travel for projects complete your profile.
