Job Description
- As a SAP Senior Developer, you will take on a responsible role in SAP transformation, implementation, and optimization projects.
- You will realize and develop sophisticated SAP projects based on modern technologies, frameworks, and programming languages such as SAP UI5, SAP BTP, SAP Fiori, Java, ABAP, and ABAP OO.
- You will design, develop, and maintain integrated business applications, custom client programs, forms, interfaces, evaluations, and reports.
- Technical design, implementation, and testing of the developed solutions – both in Frontend and Backend – are part of your responsibilities.
- As a sparring partner for colleagues, you will actively share your know-how in day-to-day project work and support the team.
- With increasing experience, you will take on more responsibility, e.g., as an architect or (sub-)project manager.
- You will develop AI-supported solution approaches and automations, critically evaluate their added value and application limits, and derive concrete impulses from them to further develop existing processes and establish new ones.
- Consulting means flexibility: Your project assignment depends on clients and the project situation – throughout Germany, in our offices, on-site at the client's location, and remotely from home.
Qualifications
- A completed degree in (business) informatics, mathematics, economics, or a comparable vocational training in a STEM field forms your foundation.
- Ideally, you bring several years of experience in SAP development, preferably in the SAP S/4HANA environment.
- You have already gained extensive knowledge in ABAP and ABAP OO and also bring experience with SAP UI5, SAP Fiori, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS or Clean Core development.
- Analytical thinking, a structured way of working, and enjoyment of complex technical challenges distinguish you.
- You use AI tools in a targeted and reflective manner, evaluate results critically, and effectively incorporate current technological developments and innovative impulses into your work, projects, and client solutions.
- Very good German language skills (at least C1) as well as good written and spoken English skills round off your profile.
- Additional knowledge in SAP ABAP Core Data Services (CDS), SAP BOPF, SAP Gateway, or related technologies is an advantage.
