The Position – Ready for the Energy Transition?
In this position, you will significantly shape the further development and maintenance of our 3DX™ Blade Platform, which combines autonomous drone flights with AI-powered image analysis. You will develop the software that makes our systems intelligent and autonomous – from the Android-based drone control to our rover that inspects wind turbine rotor blades from the inside. You will accompany new features from the initial idea through development to successful deployment with the customer. We are looking for a pragmatic, creative personality with a strong hands-on mentality, a pronounced solution orientation, and the ambition to master even complex technical challenges. As a Senior Software Developer, you will work closely with various internal stakeholders, make technical decisions, and ensure that high-quality, reliable, and production-ready software solutions are created.

Your Responsibilities – Full Speed Ahead!
- Development and Maintenance: You will conceptualize, develop, and maintain production-ready software for our inspection drones and rovers.
- AI-Powered Features: You will develop intelligent applications, for example, for data analysis, LLM-based assistants, and chatbots.
- End-to-End Responsibility: You will take responsibility for new features – from concept through implementation to release with the customer.
- Architecture and Design: You will actively contribute to architectural decisions and software design and shape the technical further development of our platform.
- Close Collaboration with Field Service: You will work closely with our field teams, incorporate their feedback, and implement concrete improvements based on it.
Your Profile – Tailwinds to Your Dream Job
- Several Years of Experience: You have at least five years of experience in the development and deployment of production-ready software.
- Sound Programming Skills: You are proficient in C#/ .NET and additionally have knowledge in Kotlin or Python.
- Practical Experience in AI Development: You have practical experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), data science, or chatbot development.
- Independent Work: You take responsibility, make sound decisions, and accompany solutions to successful deployment with the customer.
- Pragmatic Approach: You enjoy getting hands-on, tackle challenges with a solution-oriented mindset, and are comfortable in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
- Language Skills: You communicate confidently in English. German language skills are a plus.
- Advantageous: Experience in computer vision, robotics, or hardware-related software development.
