WHY CAPCO
We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Developer to lead the implementation of enterprise integrations for a large-scale Automation Modernization program within the Energy sector. The role will be responsible for defining enterprise APIs standards, event-driven architecture, and implementation strategy across multiple business platforms, including Customer Portal, CRM, Billing, Pricing, Forecasting, Payment Gateways, Utilities, Microsoft Fabric, and other SaaS platforms. The selected candidate will work closely with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Data Architects, and external vendors to deliver secure, scalable, resilient, and reusable integrations, leveraging Azure Integration Services.
Project Overview: The Automation Modernization program aims to modernize the organization's ecosystem across customer, pricing, forecasting, billing, and analytics areas through cloud-native, event-driven, API-first integrations on Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, provision, configure, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
- Implement Azure networking, including Virtual Networks, Subnets, Network Security Groups, Private Endpoints, Private DNS, routing, and connectivity.
- Configure and manage Azure services that support applications and integrations, including App Service, Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, and related services.
- Implement identity and access management using Microsoft Entra ID, Managed Identities, Service Principals, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
- Configure Azure Key Vault and secure management of application secrets, certificates, and credentials.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational dashboards using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, and related services.
- Support CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments of infrastructure and applications.
- Implement cloud security controls, network security, encryption, and enterprise Azure governance standards.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Advanced/fluent English - mandatory (will be assessed in the interview)
- Over 8 years of experience in infrastructure, cloud engineering, or DevOps.
- Over 6 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure cloud engineering.
- Solid understanding of networking, security, identity, and access management in Azure.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
- Experience supporting Azure Integration Services, including API Management and Service Bus.
Technical Skills
- Mandatory Skills: Microsoft Azure, Azure Networking, Entra ID, RBAC, Key Vault, Terraform/Bicep, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, APIM, Service Bus, Private Endpoints, Application Insights
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience supporting Java Spring Boot microservices and Angular applications on Azure.
- Experience with containerized applications and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Experience with enterprise network connectivity, private endpoints, firewalls, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Experience in the Energy & Utilities or Energy Retail sectors.
- Microsoft Azure certifications, such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Network Engineer Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Desirable Skills: Java Spring Boot, REST APIs, JSON, Oracle, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI
