RESPONSIBILITIES
Do you want to do more than just work through tickets and help shape the technical direction of a solution? With us, you'll combine years of Backend experience with modern AI Coding Tools. You'll develop scalable systems, make robust decisions about software architecture, and use Codex, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or comparable coding agents as productive tools in your daily development work.
YOUR TASKS
- You will design sophisticated Backend solutions from the technical idea to productive operation. You will take ownership of software architecture, APIs, data models, and integrations, and have a real influence on technology decisions and development standards.
- You will productively use AI Coding Tools and coding agents for implementation, refactoring, testing, and error analysis. At the same time, you will bring the seniority to critically evaluate AI-generated code and ensure its quality, security, and maintainability.
- You will develop modern AI-powered applications and services, connect LLM APIs and external systems, and work closely with product owners, business departments, and other developers to turn technological possibilities into usable solutions.
REQUIREMENTS
- 7 to 10 years of professional experience in professional Backend development, as well as sound experience with software architecture, APIs, databases, Clean Code, and automated testing.
- Very good knowledge in at least one established Backend technology, such as Python, Java, C#, TypeScript, or Node.js, complemented by confident handling of Git and CI/CD workflows.
- Demonstrable practical experience with Codex, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or comparable coding agents – including prompt/context engineering and responsible quality assurance of the results.
- Technical ownership, enjoyment of collaboration and knowledge transfer, as well as very good German and good English skills.
