Our mission is the digitalization of Germany - and for that, we are continuously looking for experienced Cloud & DevOps Engineers! In project teams, you will actively support our clients in the development and implementation of their secure, scalable, and future-proof cloud strategy.

- Analysis of client requirements and derivation of viable technical solution approaches
- Conception, setup, and further development of modern cloud and platform architectures with a focus on Kubernetes in a private cloud context, as well as with selected public cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, STACKIT, IONOS)
- Architecture and design of scalable, secure, and maintainable system landscapes
- Setup and operation of container platforms based on Kubernetes
- Creation and further development of automation, such as CI/CD pipelines for builds, testing, and release cycles, e.g., with GitLab, ArgoCD, or Azure DevOps
- Conception and implementation of Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
- Analysis and evaluation of existing architectures as well as presentation of recommendations for action
- Coaching of team members in cloud and platform topics
- Participation in ARES internal projects
Your Profile
- Completed degree or training in the IT field
- Experience in technical consulting
- Several years of experience in cloud-native technologies and platform engineering, especially in private cloud or hybrid environments
- Excellent knowledge of the Kubernetes ecosystem
- Extensive experience in the conception of cloud and platform architectures (IaaS/PaaS)
- In-depth knowledge of public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, STACKIT)
- Relevant experience in the DevOps environment
- IT security is a lived reality for you
- You are independent, customer-oriented, a strong communicator, and enjoy working in a team
- You are motivated to quickly learn new topics and take on responsibility
- Willingness to travel within Germany (on average max. 3 days/month)
- Very good German and English skills
- Willingness to undergo a security check (SÜ1 or SÜ2) according to SÜG
