Your Responsibilities
You combine technical expertise with consulting skills and support our clients in structuring technical requirements, developing viable solutions, and making sound technical decisions. You remain hands-on and actively implement solutions in our client projects.
- Analyze existing IT landscapes, architectures, and technical requirements, and develop suitable solution approaches
- Advise our clients on questions regarding cloud and DevOps solutions
- Support technical decision-making processes
- Build and further develop complex cloud platforms with a focus on Kubernetes in private cloud contexts, as well as with selected public cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, STACKIT, IONOS)
- Create and further develop automation, such as CI/CD pipelines for builds, tests, and release cycles, e.g., with GitLab, ArgoCD, or Azure DevOps
- Design and implement Infrastructure as Code and configuration management (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
- Coach team members on cloud and platform topics
- Contribute to internal ARES projects
Your Profile
- Completed degree or vocational training in an IT-related field
- Several years of experience in cloud-native technologies and platform engineering, particularly in private cloud or hybrid environments
- Solid knowledge of public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, STACKIT)
- Relevant experience in the DevOps environment
- Ability to advise clients on technical topics and communicate complex technical concepts in an understandable way
- Project experience in the public sector or critical infrastructure (KRITIS) environment
- IT security is a part of your everyday life
- You are independent, client-oriented, have strong communication skills, and enjoy working in a team
- You are motivated to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics and take on responsibility
- Willingness to travel within Germany (on average max. 3 days/month)
- Very good German and English language skills
- Willingness to undergo a security clearance (SÜ1 or SÜ2) according to the German Security Clearance Act (SÜG)
