ROLE
Orcrist is building a next generation data intelligence platform using cutting-edge technologies. We're handling petabyte-scale data with sub-second queries. Our product is a Kubernetes‑based platform delivered as B2B SaaS or as a self‑hosted on‑prem solution, including air‑gapped deployments. We enable customers across defense, law enforcement, and enterprise to turn mission-critical data into actionable intelligence.
Join the Core squad that owns OIP’s web app, APIs, and admin experiences. You’ll ship end-to-end TypeScript features (Next.js + Node.js/tRPC), harden IAM UX, and ensure secure-by-default workflows used by every customer.
WHAT YOU'LL DO *
- Build and maintain admin consoles, IAM flows, notifications, and collaboration features. *
- Implement secure auth patterns with Keycloak/OpenFGA and expose tamper-evident audit views. *
- Deliver accessible, performant React components with robust testing and telemetry. *
- Participate in on-call, observability, and incident response for Core services. *
- Collaborate closely with Design, Platform, and customer-facing teams to prioritize impact.
ABOUT YOU *
- 3–7 years building production-grade TypeScript applications across frontend + backend. *
- Strong experience with React/Next.js, Node.js/tRPC (or similar), and modern testing tools. *
- Familiar with OAuth2/OIDC, RBAC/ABAC, and secure UI patterns. *
- Comfortable with Kubernetes/GitOps workflows and participating in on-call rotations. *
- Eligible to work in Germany; EU/NATO citizenship preferred for export control.
NICE-TO-HAVES *
- Experience with real-time collaboration (WebSockets, CRDTs), accessibility, or design systems. *
- Exposure to Temporal.io, graph/map visualization, or regulated industry products. *
- German language (B1+) or prior work with defense/law-enforcement customers.
