Your Responsibilities
At Rulemapping, we make applicable law machine-readable. You will build the web applications through which authorities and companies work with this technology, from React-Frontend to NestJS-Backend, in close collaboration with UX and Product Management.
- You will develop performant, maintainable Frontend components using React, Panda CSS, and the TanStack Router, working closely with UX/UI (Figma) and Product Management on user-centric features.
- You will implement and maintain scalable REST-Backend s in NestJS, with clean architectural principles and clear API design.
- For PostgreSQL, you will be responsible for database design, query optimization, and migrations, integrating Keycloak for authentication, and securely connecting the Rulemapping Automation Backend.
- AI tools like Claude Code are part of your daily development routine for code generation, refactoring, and testing. You will maintain code quality with ESLint, Prettier, Vitest, Jest, Playwright, and structured code reviews.
- You will participate in architectural decisions, knowledge sharing within the team, and the development of our CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Cloud Deployment), and evaluate new technologies to keep the platform technically up-to-date and scalable in the long term.
Your Profile
- Several years of experience in Fullstack development of modern web applications. Whether with a computer science degree or self-taught with demonstrable practical experience, what matters is what you have built.
- Deep understanding of TypeScript, React, and PostgreSQL. Knowledge of Python is a plus.
- Proficient in state management, APIs, authentication (Keycloak), and Frontend performance optimization.
- Solid understanding of software architectures, data flows, and API design.
- Experience with Vite and common tools for testing and code quality, plus a basic understanding of CI/CD and cloud environments.
- You work independently, think pragmatically, and write code that others enjoy developing further. You actively stay up-to-date with new technologies and trends.
