Brief Description
These tasks interest you
You will take responsibility in an interdisciplinary team with highly qualified software engineers, UI/UX experts, agile coaches, and product owners for high-quality software solutions.
Together with your team, you will conceptualize complex and diverse software projects and implement them together with our clients.
You will live agile software development with us in daily scrums, customer reviews, and retrospectives with the support of our agile coaches.
You will design long-lasting software architectures together with your team and implement them iteratively and incrementally.
You will use DevOps methods to quickly deliver value to end-users and gather feedback.
You will implement new and stable technologies in appropriate places.
You will work self-organized in your project team, take responsibility, and actively shape XITASO.
Minimum requirements

- Leadership & Ownership: You have approximately 5 years of practical experience in software development and take responsibility for the successful implementation of demanding software projects. Depending on the project context, you contribute to topics such as Backend, Frontend, DevOps, or AI Engineering.
- Communication: You have very good German and English skills (minimum C1 level) and can explain complex technical contexts appropriately to the audience – both within the team and to clients and partners.
- Collaboration: You understand collaboration as a success factor for excellent software. You actively share your knowledge and manage to translate different perspectives into viable solutions.
- AI for Software Engineering: You use modern technologies and tools reflectively. In particular, you have experience in the area of AI for Software Engineering and use AI-powered development tools like Claude Code, OpenCode, or GitHub Copilot responsibly to make software development more efficient and effective.
- Architecture & System Thinking: You enjoy working on challenging architectural issues and actively contribute your perspective to discussions on architecture, software design, and technical solution approaches. You think about software holistically and can evaluate technical decisions in the context of architecture, maintainability, operation, and costs.
- Code Understanding: You have a strong understanding of high-quality code. You quickly familiarize yourself with existing codebases, understand interdependencies, and critically evaluate code generated by both humans and AI systems.
- Growth Mindset: You approach changes with openness and curiosity. You see new technologies, methods, or task areas as opportunities to learn and develop further. You are willing to step outside your comfort zone.

Salary Information
Within our uniform and transparent salary framework, the gross annual salary for this position ranges from 58.000 – 70.000 EUR, depending on factors such as qualifications and experience.
