YOUR ROLE
- Implement API solutions: You will design and implement API and integration solutions for our clients – from strategy and API design to operations in modern cloud environments. You will evaluate existing integration landscapes and develop scalable, secure, and future-proof API and cloud architectures that optimally fit our clients' business requirements.
- API Management & Platforms: You will advise our clients on the development and advancement of API management platforms (e.g., governance, security, lifecycle, monetization) and establish an "API as a Product" approach.
- Take on project responsibility: You will take responsibility throughout the entire project lifecycle – from requirements analysis, architecture, and conceptual design to implementation in agile, interdisciplinary teams.
- Collaboration & Enablement: You will work closely with development, architecture, cloud, and security teams, share your API and platform expertise, and support clients and colleagues in building a sustainable API ecosystem.
- Passion for innovation: You will identify new topics, technologies, and use cases related to API management, cloud, eventing, and AI, and translate them into concrete consulting offerings and solutions.
YOUR PROFILE
- Professional experience: Based on an IT-related degree or vocational training, you have gained several years of experience in the API and integration environment – ideally as a consultant, architect, or engineer – and feel at home in both conceptual design and implementation.
- API management expertise: You possess deep experience with at least one API management platform (e.g., Kong, Apigee, Azure API Management, Axway, WSO2, or similar) and are familiar with typical patterns, standards, and best practices.
- Technology know-how: You bring knowledge of modern cloud and container architectures, ideally based on Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure, and have experience with CI/CD and DevOps approaches.
- Working style & mindset: You think entrepreneurially, quickly understand business requirements, and can translate them into viable technical concepts. You work in a solution-oriented manner, take responsibility, and contribute proactively.
- Consulting competence: You are committed to client consulting, engage with clients at eye level, explain complex technical content in an understandable way, and guide teams confidently through decision-making processes.
- Language skills: Your very good German and good English skills enable you to communicate securely and persuasively with our clients and within the project team.
- AI competence: You have initial experience with the use of AI in an integration or API context, e.g., in the automation of interface design, documentation, or testing.
