About the Department

Your Responsibilities
- Definition of the overall test strategy for the distributed SIGINT system
- Architecture design of the Python-based test system with a focus on a high degree of automation
- Design of scalable test infrastructures
- Definition of standards, frameworks, and coding guidelines for the implementation of tests
- Integration of GUI test automation (Squish) into a modular overall test architecture
- Interface to SW system architecture, development, and the system integration team
- Decision on test tools and technological direction
- Ensuring non-functional coverage (performance, robustness, stability) Management of complex error analyses in distributed systems
- Setup of reproducible end-to-end test environments Responsibility for sustainable maintainability of the test architecture
Your Profile
- Many years of experience in testing complex, distributed systems
- Deep understanding of architectures in distributed systems (communication protocols, data flows, state management)
- Very good Python skills, especially in the area of test automation
- Many years of experience in building and expanding test environments with a high degree of automation for stable use in CI test pipelines Ability to align test strategy with system architecture
- Good knowledge of virtualization and container technologies (e.g., VMware, Docker, Podman)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Very good German and English skills
- Ideally, experience in the SIGINT or comparable safety-critical environment
