In a large-scale agile project, you will take responsibility for the technical architecture of modern cloud and microservice solutions, coordinate teams, and support the entire development process – from the idea to stable operation.
YOUR TASKS INCLUDE
- Project Work: You will work in a large-scale agile project according to the SAFe methodology and make a significant contribution to its successful implementation.
- Architecture Management: You will be responsible for the technical architecture within a cross-functional implementation team and will liaise with other development teams and team architects.
- Cloud Development: You will take the lead in implementing complex technical and functional requirements in our cloud-based microservice architecture.
- End-to-End Responsibility: You will independently oversee the entire development process – from the idea, through refinements and development, to CI/CD deployment and monitoring in operation.
- Community Collaboration: Within the Architecture Community of Practice, you will shape the further development of the platform architecture together with other team architects and platform architects.
- Quality Assurance: You will define non-functional requirements and monitor their compliance to ensure the continuous quality of the platform.
WHAT YOU BRING
- You have a degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification and possess several years of experience in application development and in designing sophisticated software architectures.
- You are familiar with cloud-native architectures based on microservices, Domain-Driven Design, or Clean Architecture, and have a comprehensive overview of common market standards and suitable frameworks.
- You have proven expertise in Java development with Spring Boot or Java EE, as well as in modern technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and GitLab.
- Experience in agile or scaled agile development, for example with Scrum or SAFe, as well as in automating integration and deployment processes with DevSecOps and CI/CD characterize you. Additionally, you possess knowledge in AI and an interest in new AI trends.
- You communicate confidently in German and well in English, convey architectural principles and decisions appropriately to all stakeholders, and work in a self-assured, cooperative, and solution-oriented manner.
