In order to respond to business needs, we intend to strengthen our Digital Delivery team with a Specialist in Software Engineering – Distributed Systems and Cloud.
What we expect from you
- Design, develop, and evolve high-scale and critical distributed systems, as well as cloud and open-source platforms — existing or new.
- Define and apply architectural patterns (microservices, event-driven systems, APIs), creating shared and reusable libraries and components across teams and products.
- Design and manage cloud infrastructure as code and their respective CI/CD pipelines, focusing on automation, security, resilience, and cost efficiency.
- Ensure the operation, observability, and reliability of systems in production, participating in the resolution of complex incidents and continuous improvement.
- Technically lead end-to-end initiatives — from conception to delivery —, evaluating and introducing new technologies and open-source solutions suitable for the organization's context.
- Share knowledge and elevate the technical quality of teams through code reviews, documentation, mentoring, and active contribution to engineering best practices.
Who we are looking for
- Academic background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field — or equivalent proven experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 to 6 years of solid experience in backend software development and distributed systems design.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Go, TypeScript/Node.js, Java, or Python, with proven experience in high-availability systems architectures.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud), containers and Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and DevOps/GitOps practices.
- Experience with messaging and asynchronous processing systems, relational and analytical databases, APIs and authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- full-stack vision and comfort with the open-source ecosystem, with the ability to learn and adopt new technologies autonomously and quickly.
- Ability to communicate clearly in technical and non-technical contexts, contributing to a collaborative engineering culture and continuous improvement.
