Company Description

Develop. Connect. Optimize. Shape the IT of Thalia with us.

Books tell stories – and every successful company story today relies on a strong digital infrastructure. Whether it's the online shop, apps, merchandise management systems, or smart solutions for our bookstores: our IT ensures that Thalia functions as a modern omnichannel bookseller.

Thalia combines tradition with innovation. What began with one bookstore in 1919 is today a company with 613 bookstores, 41 toy stores, a strong e-commerce presence, and a digital ecosystem that is constantly growing. Our IT is the key to better integrating classic bookselling and the digital world – with systems that are reliable, efficient, and future-proof.

We are working on solutions that not only offer our customers a seamless shopping experience but also make our internal processes smarter and more efficient. For this, we need people who are eager to rethink IT processes, use innovative technologies, and shape the digital transformation in bookselling together with us.
