What is expected of this role? *
- Technical Leadership and Architecture: Design, direct, and make decisions about the architecture (front-end and back-end) of our systems, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and maintenance. *
- Mentorship and People Development: Guide, mentor, and provide technical feedback to the team's developers, encouraging continuous growth and knowledge sharing. *
- Hands-on: Write high-quality code, develop complex features, perform automated tests, and actively participate in code reviews. *
- Quality and Standards: Define and promote good development practices to maintain the quality of the team's deliveries. *
- Facilitation and Blocker Resolution: Act in identifying and removing technical impediments, assisting the team in solving complex engineering problems. *
- Bridge with Business and Product: Work side-by-side with the Product and Design teams to translate business needs into clear technical requirements and realistic estimates. *
- Process Evolution: Suggest and implement improvements in software development lifecycle processes and agile methodologies.
Minimum requirements
You will do very well if: *
- You have solid practical experience as a Fullstack Developer and experience with technical leadership of software teams. *
- You have a macro view of software architecture, design patterns, and highly available distributed SaaS systems. *
- You are an exceptional problem solver, with the ability to break down complex problems and propose simple and efficient solutions. *
- You have excellent communication and negotiation skills for deadlines, priorities, and solutions with different stakeholders. *
- You are driven by continuous learning, are self-taught, and proactive in exploring new technologies, methodologies, and tools. *
- You have a passion for developing people and building a strong, collaborative, and results-focused technical culture. *
- You are passionate about growth and want to develop yourself. Here, people grow together with the company (and vice-versa); *
- Completed or in-progress Bachelor's degree; *
- At least 4 years of experience in Node.Js; *
- Experience as a Technical Lead; *
- Basic English - for coding; *
- Availability to work 40 hours per week.
It will be great if you have, but it's not mandatory: *
- Experience with chatbots and/or startups; *
- Experience with the following technologies: *
- Angular 2+; *
- Java (e.g., Play Framework/Spring); *
- NestJS *
- Relational database (e.g., PostgreSQL); *
- Cloud utilization (e.g., AWS). *
- Experience with automated testing.
