- Act as a technical reference within the vertical's squads, guiding design decisions and solution implementation;
- Define and evolve the architecture of services, APIs, events, and integrations for the vertical's products, ensuring adherence to corporate standards;
- Analyze and propose continuous improvements to existing solutions, considering technological evolution, system scalability, and user experience;
- Perform troubleshooting of complex solutions, making bug fixes, incident resolutions, and performance optimizations, with an emphasis on automation and definitive solutions;
- Develop new functionalities and automations using approved tools, generating value for both customers and internal operations (Support, Monitoring, etc.);
- Ensure end-to-end solution delivery, with monitoring during development, testing, and production phases, ensuring the quality and performance of implementations;
- Conduct technical spikes and PoCs to validate implementation approaches before execution by the squads;
- Translate business requirements into detailed solution designs (sequence diagrams, components, data, and deployment);
- Propose and implement resilience, observability, and performance patterns in the vertical's microservices;
- Define contracts for APIs and events, ensuring compatibility and proper versioning between services;
- Define and document architecture standards and best practices, ensuring the maintainability and scalability of delivered solutions;
- Identify, document, and prioritize technical debt within the squads' backlog;
- Map, identify, and address technical risks related to the implementation of new solutions, minimizing impacts and maximizing team efficiency;
- Support build or buy decisions with practical technical analyses and functional prototypes;
- Technically lead development teams, ensuring teams follow best practices in software engineering and architecture;
- Conduct code and architecture reviews, providing continuous feedback to ensure robust, high-quality solutions;
- Collaborate with the platform and infrastructure team to define deployment, scalability, and cost strategies;
- Act as a bridge between enterprise architecture and squad execution, contextualizing corporate guidelines to the teams' reality;
- Participate in architecture forums, incident reviews, and post-mortems, bringing learnings back to the vertical;
