Your responsibilities as a CSixer
- Lead the complete software development cycle from conception to deployment in staging and production environments with a focus on robust, secure, and continuous delivery.
- Act as a technical reference within the squad, ensuring the quality, performance, and resilience of services related to financial transactions.
- Drive architecture and engineering decisions, deeply understanding technical trade-offs and guiding the team in choosing scalable and secure solutions.
- Promote development excellence with advanced practices such as TDD/BDD, code reviews, clean code, DDD, and high automated test coverage.
- Actively participate in the support of production systems, focusing on observability, monitoring, and rapid response to mission-critical incidents.
- Collaborate with business, product, and technology areas, contributing strategic technical vision for the evolution of the user journey at the bank.
Minimum requirements
Requirements and Experience
- Proficiency in languages like Kotlin or Java with solid experience in frameworks like Spring Boot.
- Proficiency in microservices architecture, including communication patterns, resilience, versioning of APIs, and continuous deployment.
- In-depth experience with test automation, including unit, integration, and contract tests, ensuring high coverage and confidence in deliveries.
- Proficiency in relational and non-relational databases, especially PostgreSQL and MongoDB, with a focus on performance and consistency.
- Experience with messaging systems like Kafka, SQS, and SNS, applying asynchronous communication patterns at scale.
- Advanced familiarity with observability patterns, including metrics, structured logs, and distributed tracing.
- Practical experience in Cloud environments (preferably AWS) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid understanding of security protocols, authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth2), cryptography, and secure development practices.
- Experience in agile environments with a focus on frequent deliveries, metrics, and DevOps culture.
- Desirable experience with investment products or financial products.
