We are looking for an experienced Integration Developer to design and implement enterprise integrations for a large-scale Automation Modernization program in the Energy sector. The role will be responsible for developing enterprise microservices to connect multiple business platforms, including Customer Portal, CRM, Billing, Pricing, Forecasting, Payment Gateways, Utilities, Microsoft Fabric, and other SaaS platforms. The selected candidate will work closely with the Integration Lead, Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Data Architects, and external vendors to deliver secure, scalable, resilient, and reusable integrations, utilizing Azure Integration Services and Java Spring Boot services.
Project Overview: The Automation Modernization program aims to modernize the organization's ecosystem in the areas of customers, pricing, forecasting, billing, and analytics through API-first, cloud-native, and event-driven integrations on Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise integrations using Azure Integration Services and Java Spring Boot.
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and configure APIs using Azure API Management (APIM).
- Implement synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns based on solution requirements.
- Develop messaging and event-driven integrations using Azure Service Bus, queues, topics, subscriptions, and related Azure services.
- Implement integrations between enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, databases, external partners, and Microsoft Azure services.
- Implement message transformation, validation, routing, orchestration, exception handling, and retry mechanisms.
- Develop reusable integration components and services aligned with enterprise integration standards.
- Implement API authentication and authorization using Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth 2.0, JWT, Managed Identities, and related security mechanisms.
- Secure application credentials, secrets, certificates, and connection information using Azure Key Vault.
- Implement logging, monitoring, distributed tracing, correlation IDs, and operational telemetry for integration services.
- Develop unit tests, automated API tests, and integration tests.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Advanced/fluent English - mandatory (will be assessed in interview)
- More than 8 years of experience in software development and enterprise integration.
- Solid hands-on development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Solid experience in developing APIs REST and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with Azure API Management (APIM).
- Experience with Azure Service Bus, including queues, topics, subscriptions, and message processing.
- Solid understanding of synchronous, asynchronous, messaging, and event-driven integration patterns.
- Experience with JSON, REST, HTTP/HTTPS, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API security.
- Experience in implementing exception handling, retry mechanisms, dead-letter processing, logging, and monitoring.
Technical Skills
- Mandatory Skills: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, JSON, Azure API Management (APIM), Azure Service Bus, OAuth 2.0/JWT
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience with additional Azure Integration Services, such as Logic Apps, Event Grid, Event Hubs, and Azure Functions.
- Experience integrating SaaS and enterprise platforms, including CRM, billing, payments, pricing, forecasting, and data platforms.
- Experience with Azure Key Vault, Managed Identities, and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
- Experience with Oracle, SQL databases, and database integrations.
- Experience in the Energy & Utilities or Retail Energy sectors.
- Knowledge of customer systems, billing, pricing, forecasting, payments, and the energy market.
- Desirable Skills: Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Event Grid, Event Hubs, Key Vault, Entra ID, Application Insights, Azure Monitor, Oracle/SQL
