About the Division
For the "Smart Sensors" division, we are looking for a "Systems Engineer Electronics & Software for Camera Systems (m/f/d)" at the Oberkochen site as soon as possible.
The Smart Sensors division develops imaging sensors, active sensors, and warning sensors. These sensors are sensitive in the visual to infrared spectral range and are used for reconnaissance and target acquisition in civilian and military applications. The "Sensor Electronics and Hardware" team is responsible for the electronics and software of these sensors. Other teams in the division are responsible for technical management, optical and mechanical design, and corresponding sensor metrology.

Your Responsibilities
- Analysis of system and customer requirements and translation into precise technical specifications for electronics and software
- Close collaboration with Systems Architects (m/f/d) to ensure requirements are technically feasible and scalable
- Close collaboration with other Systems Engineers (m/f/d) in the "Smart Sensors" division for requirements definition and analysis
- Structuring and management of technical requirements with SysML / MBSE and DOORS, ensuring consistency down to the design level
- Creation and monitoring of realistic schedules and milestones in Jira & MS Project, considering technical dependencies
- Technical interface between customers, business units, internal development teams, and external partners
- Technical management of external development partners and quality assurance of delivered artifacts
Your Profile
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Engineering with a strong focus on cameras, software, and electronics
- Deep understanding of the development of complex, object-oriented software (ideally with a background in C++ or a comparable tech stack)
- Sound experience in Requirements Engineering (as well as in handling SysML, MBSE, DOORS, and creating specifications)
- Confident use of Jira & MS Project and experience in structuring development projects
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical issues and document them precisely for various stakeholders
- Very good German and English skills for communication in an international environment
- Willingness to undergo Ü2 security screening
