Your role in this journey
- Analyze requirements, use cases, and acceptance criteria to identify test scenarios.
- Write functional and regression test plans, scenarios, and cases.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, and exploratory tests.
- Log, classify, and track defects until correction and retesting.
- Prepare and maintain test data sets, in collaboration with the Data team.
- Support business areas with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and retesting.
- Test APIs (Postman or similar).
- Produce evidence and reports on quality and test coverage.
- Participate in refinements and agile ceremonies to bring the quality perspective from the beginning.
Minimum requirements
If you meet the requirements below, this opportunity might be yours:
- Experience with software testing.
- Experience writing and executing functional and regression test cases.
- Knowledge of testing techniques (equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, decision table).
- Experience with test and defect management tools (Jira, Azure Test Plans, Xray, Zephyr).
- Experience with API testing (Postman, Insomnia).
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation.
- Experience with agile methodologies.
- Education: Completed Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
It could be a differential if you have:
- Test automation (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium) and/or BDD writing (Gherkin).
- CTFL certification (ISTQB/BSTQB).
- Experience in projects for the financial, pension, or insurance markets.
- Support for UAT with business areas.
- Notions of performance and accessibility testing.
