For the "Simulation Solutions" department, we are looking for a "Working Student Software Engineer - Sensor Simulation (m/f/d)" at the Ulm location as soon as possible.
In the Simulation Solutions department, we develop state-of-the-art simulation systems for the military market – from the initial idea to the finished deployment. Our Simsphere® Simulation Suite realistically maps complex sensor and effector landscapes and enables entire scenarios to be tested and analyzed under real performance conditions. In order to meet the increasing demands for networked and highly dynamic systems in the future, we continuously expand our existing solutions – technologically up-to-date and with plenty of room for innovative software development.

Your Responsibilities
- Support programming and testing of a sensor simulation in C++, Python or Rust for existing sensors
- Participate in setting up simulation servers and support projects with testing and integration
- Coordinate with the system and software engineering teams of the simulation department together with the supervisor
Your Profile
- Enrolled student in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a similar field of study
- Programming skills in C++, Python or Rust
- Basic knowledge of containerization (Docker, Docker Compose)
- Familiarity with network and interface technologies (TCP/IP, REST)
- Enjoyment and passion for programming and testing in a technically complex environment
- Teamwork skills, reliability
- Good German and English language skills
