- Build & further develop the platform Backend: You develop scalable, maintainable microservices for br.AI.n and SemReasoner — with Java & Spring Boot as the technical foundation and a clear focus on architectural quality.
- Realize Agentic Integrations: You integrate external services and protocols into our platform — including MCP servers, LLM-APIs and third-party systems — thereby specifically expanding the capabilities of our agent architecture.
- Understand & expand Semantic Backend: You work closely with the SemReasoner core — ontologies, knowledge graphs, and semantic reasoning are not buzzwords for you, but building blocks that you transform into production-ready services.
- Take responsibility for CI/CD & Deployments: You build and maintain robust deployment pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or similar) and ensure that new features go into production quickly, safely, and reproducibly.
- Operate Cloud & Containers: You deploy our services in Kubernetes and cloud environments (AWS, Azure or GCP) — with the aim of not just being runnable, but operationally sound.
- Tackle MLOps: You integrate AI workflows into our production infrastructure — from model deployment to the automation of training and inference pipelines (e.g., with Kubeflow, MLflow, or Argo Workflows).
- Drive Proof-of-Concepts: You test new ideas early, pragmatically, and with a clear validation goal — and know when a PoC is production-ready and when it is not.
YOUR PROFILE
- Solid Backend craftsmanship: Several years of experience in Java and Spring Boot, microservice architectures, and the design of scalable, loosely coupled systems — you know what holds up in production and what doesn't.
- Agentic AI Understanding: You think AI-native — you understand how LLMs, agents, and semantic reasoning work together, and can incorporate this understanding into Backend architectural decisions.
- DevOps Competence: CI/CD is not an add-on for you, but standard. You build pipelines that make the team faster — not slower.
- Cloud & Kubernetes: You have already operated services in cloud environments and know how to orchestrate container workloads cleanly. Vendor preference is not a must — experience is.
- Analytical Depth: You love to delve into complex problems — and find solutions that not only work, but are also understandable in six months.
- Team Orientation & Communication: You work openly, share knowledge proactively, and contribute constructively to architectural discussions — even when it gets uncomfortable.
- MLOps Affinity (Plus point): If you have already worked with Kubeflow, MLflow, or similar tools, even better — if not, you bring the curiosity and willingness to learn to quickly get up to speed.
