OUR DATA ENGINEERING AREA
Our area is responsible for the development and maintenance of the Data Platform, as well as the data ingestion mesh from transactional, operational, customer relationship systems, among others. We store all data loaded by the pipelines in the Data Lake, essential for business decision-making. We continuously monitor data extraction pipelines to ensure read and load functionality, as well as optimize their performance and efficiency.

YOUR ACTIVITIES AS A CSIXER
- Real programming: develop and evolve frameworks, libraries, APIs and internal tools in Python and Golang to support our data platform;
- Architecture and Cloud: design and implement robust and scalable software architectures on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP), managing the underlying infrastructure of tools like Airflow, Dataflow, and Kubernetes clusters;
- Automation and CI/CD: create and maintain complex CI/CD pipelines, ensuring quality, automated tests, and continuous deployments (Infrastructure as Code);
- Platform Evolution: research, propose, and implement new technologies and architectural patterns that optimize cloud resource consumption and improve the resilience of our ecosystems;
- Reliability Engineering: act on the observability, monitoring, and performance of the platform as a whole, not just individual pipelines.
REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
- Software Engineer Mindset: solid experience in backend/platform software development (This is not a vacancy for creating ETL pipelines or modeling in SQL);
- Languages: deep mastery of Python (mandatory) and experience/familiarity with Golang (highly desirable and a significant differentiator);
- Best practices: mastery of software architecture, Clean Code, Design Patterns, SOLID, and a strong testing culture (unit, integration, and 2e);
- DevOps & infra: deep knowledge of CI/CD, containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, etc.);
- Cloud & orchestration: experience with administration and deployment of orchestrators (like Airflow at scale), event-driven architecture, and a strong foundation in Cloud Computing (GCP is our primary environment);
- Availability for in-person work in the central region of São Paulo (Av. 9 de Julho);
- Differentiators:
- Architecture or Engineering certifications on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP);
- Previous experience creating internal tools (Developer Tooling) for data teams.
