zollsoft GmbH
Head of Product & Engineering (m/f/d) - 100% Remote
Foreword
With No-Q, we are shaping the future of pharmacy everyday life: Since 2026, the platform has belonged to zollsoft and is being further developed into comprehensive Patient Relation Management. As Head of Product & Engineering, you bring product and technology together, get hands-on yourself, and make a real difference in a small team with a start-up character – with zollsoft backing you up.
Where you can get involved
At No-Q, you hold the reins: You are responsible for product strategy and technical development from the initial idea to release and operation. You shape the product vision together with our management.
You translate the needs of pharmacy teams into well-thought-out software solutions, develop concepts, formulate tickets, and keep the product roadmap and backlog on track.
You don't just make architectural decisions on paper. You accompany code reviews and roll up your sleeves yourself if necessary – with Ruby on Rails and Vue.js.
You take on the technical leadership of our agile development team, organize collaboration with Scrum or Kanban, and support your colleagues in growing beyond themselves. You also shape further team development.
Together with our DevOps team, you ensure that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes – from optimized CI/CD pipelines to the deployment and operation of our software.
Together with your team, you develop an AI-first workflow, try out new AI tools, and ensure that they are meaningfully integrated into your development routine.
Gut feeling is good, data is better: With KPIs, user feedback, and product data, you find out what works and which next steps will really advance No-Q.
Whether pharmacies, partners, or internal teams: You bring different perspectives together and ensure that requirements turn into real product improvements.
You work full remote in full-time (40 hours per week) and help shape No-Q from wherever you are most productive.
What you should bring
You have already taken responsibility for the development of a software product as a Technical Product Manager, Product Owner, Tech Lead, Head of Engineering, or in a comparable role – ideally in the SaaS or cloud environment.
You come from software development yourself and can still get involved in the code today. Ideally, you have experience with Ruby on Rails; Vue.js is a plus.
APIs, relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL, software architecture, and cloud services are part of your technical toolkit. You can make well-founded architectural decisions and communicate them clearly.
You think not only in features, but in solutions that truly benefit customers. User interviews, feature tracking, and competitor analyses help you make informed decisions – and even with limited data, you remain pragmatic and capable of action.
You have already technically led or intensively supported a development team. You know agile methods like Scrum or Kanban from practice and understand how to drive people and projects forward.
AI tools like Claude or Cursor have long been part of your development routine. You use them routinely and are eager to establish new AI workflows together with your team.
Experience in healthcare, with regulated data, or security standards like GDPR, C5, and ISO 27001 is a big plus. Even better if you are already familiar with the pharmacy market, e-prescriptions, or the telematics infrastructure (TI).
Kubernetes, DevOps, or DevSecOps are also familiar to you? Even better!
To get a firm footing with us, you speak German fluently at at least a C1 level.
Why us?
