About the area and the position
The R&D team's main functions are the exploration and validation of new technologies, the development of Proofs of Concept (POCs), and the structuring of new databases. The team dedicates a significant portion of its time and effort to research, conducting feasibility tests, and technical documentation, rather than focusing exclusively on the development and maintenance of production routines.
What you will do on a daily basis
- Support for Tests and POCs: Assist the team in setting up environments, executing scripts, and collecting metrics in Proofs of Concept (PoCs) for new tools.
- Technical Documentation: Document manuals and record the step-by-step process for installing or using the new technologies tested by the team.
- Continuous Study: Dedicate time to the active learning of emerging technologies and frameworks that are on the team's research radar.
Deliverables
- Simplified and functional prototypes based on a dataset.
- Technical documentation containing performance comparisons.
Required skills
- Programming Languages: Practical mastery of OOP (Object-Oriented Programming).
- Database Concepts: Understanding of how relational databases work and theoretical notions about NoSQL databases.
- Basic Software Engineering: Knowledge of code versioning (Git/GitHub) and familiarity with consuming APIs REST.
- Curiosity and Willingness to Learn: Thirst for knowledge and proactivity.
