YOUR ROLE
- Lead Dev for AI-assisted Teams: You will take on the role of technical lead in projects and demonstrate how GenAI can be used throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
- AI-assisted Delivery: You will establish working methods where tools like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Review Agents, and test and documentation assistants are used as a matter of course.
- Quality & Velocity: You will improve speed and quality simultaneously – for example, through generated tests, refactorings, better documentation, and structured AI prompts for the team.
- Tooling & Integration: You will develop and integrate AI services (e.g., MCP servers, internal AI-APIs) into the development environments and CI/CD pipelines of our clients.
- Hands-on Coding: You will code yourself – in the Backend (Java, Spring Boot/Quarkus), Frontend (TypeScript, React/Angular/Vue), or as a full-stack developer – and participate in pair and mob programming sessions.
- Coaching & Enablement & Continuous Learning: You will coach developers on how to use AI responsibly and efficiently, establish best practices, guidelines, and living playbooks, and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in GenAI.
YOUR PROFILE
- Strong Engineering Background: Several years of experience as a software developer, ideally with responsibility as a Lead Dev, Tech Lead, or Principal Engineer, with a completed degree in an IT-related field, as well as very good knowledge in at least one of our core stacks (Java/Spring Boot/Quarkus or TypeScript/React/Angular/Vue), plus Clean Code, Testing, and CI/CD.
- AI Tooling Experience: You have already worked extensively with AI-assisted development (e.g., Claude-Caude, Github Copilot, PR agents with project context) and are aware of their pitfalls.
- Architecture and DevOps Understanding: Experience with microservices, APIs and modern deployment environments (Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud) is a given for you.
- Lean & Pragmatic: You are familiar with current developments in agent-based software development and choose the most sensible degree of automation in the project.
- Mentoring Mindset: You enjoy helping others improve, giving feedback, and developing standards and best practices together with the team.
- Language Skills: Very good German and good English skills.
