As a Tech Lead Java, you will work on an international Nearshore project for a major global technology client specializing in the financial sector, contributing to the development of critical enterprise applications in a global and AI-first environment.
Your role will be essential in designing, developing, and sustaining scalable, integrated, and high-performance Java solutions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and using artificial intelligence as an ally to accelerate software development cycle activities.

WHY YOU?
If you meet the requirements below, this opportunity might be yours:
- Graduation in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields;
- Advanced English (C1/C2), with the ability to communicate in an international environment;
- Solid experience as a Java Tech Lead or Senior Java Developer in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Experience with developing scalable, resilient, and high-performance Java applications;
- Experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture;
- Practical experience with cloud, especially AWS;
- Knowledge of distributed systems and enterprise architecture;
- Experience leading distributed or global technical teams;
- Ability to work in dynamic, complex, and high-pressure environments, with resilience and decision-making skills;
DIFFERENTIALS YOU MIGHT HAVE
- Experience in financial services, especially Wealth & Asset Management;
- Familiarity with GenAI and prompt Engineering;
- Certifications in Java, AWS, Spring Framework, or microservices architecture will be considered a plus.
- Certifications in Java or related technologies.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-performance Java applications.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in software architecture, code quality, and security.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, guiding distributed teams in implementing robust solutions.
- Drive the implementation of solutions based on Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into efficient technical solutions.
- Perform troubleshooting, performance optimization, and incident resolution support.
- Establish development standards, technical governance, and good engineering practices.
- Mentor team members, promoting technical growth, autonomy, and collaboration.
- Support deliveries in high-criticality environments, ensuring quality, resilience, and deadline adherence.
- Contribute to the evolution of enterprise architectures in a financial services context.
