About the Job

We are looking for a senior engineer to own the technology behind our manufacturing business. You will manage our enterprise infrastructure across cloud, on-premises and hosted environments, administer our ERP and the SaaS applications our teams rely on every day (lab, quality, production and project management), keep them all connected, and work with leaders across the company to put AI and automation to work for the business. You will be trusted to make decisions and see them through, with a direct effect on how the business runs.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Your Work Matters: Support the Brands People Use Every Day
  • Collaborate & Create: Join a team that values fresh ideas, open communication, and teamwork
  • Grow Your Career: We encourage curiosity, learning, and stepping up to new challenges
  • Supportive Culture: Thrive in a workplace that values your contributions and well-being

The Perks of Joining Our Team

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage—plus a few weeks of paid parental leave when it matters most
  • Paid time off and holidays to help you unwind and recharge
  • Real opportunities to grow your skills and make an impact as we evolve
  • A collaborative team that’s adaptable, supportive, and driven to succeed together
  • A 401(k) retirement plan with company contributions to help you build your future

What You’ll Do

Infrastructure and Systems Administration

  1. Own our Microsoft Azure environment: Azure SQL, virtual machines, networking, storage, Azure Data Factory, identity and cost management
  1. Administer Microsoft 365 and Entra ID / Active Directory: accounts, groups, access control, conditional access and SSO
  1. Administer the VMware virtual environment and maintain the on-premises and cloud servers (Windows and Linux) behind our internal applications, including patching, backups, monitoring and disaster recovery
  1. Apply security best practices: least-privilege access, secrets management, MFA, logging, and regular access reviews

AI and Automation

  1. Lead AI for the company: own our AI platform and tools, and drive how AI is adopted and used across every department
  1. Use AI as an everyday working tool: build, troubleshoot, document and support systems faster with AI assistants and agents (for example, Claude, Microsoft Copilot or Azure OpenAI)
  1. Bring systems engineering and AI together: use AI to improve how our systems and integrations work, and give the AI tools you put in place the same testing, security and monitoring as any other system
  1. Find and deliver ways to automate manual work across operations and the back office
  1. Stay current as AI changes: follow new models, tools and practices
  1. Keep learning, and help others learn: grow your own AI skills and help colleagues across the company use AI well
  1. Use AI responsibly: help set and follow practical rules for how the company uses AI, with the right controls around company data

ERP and Business Systems Administration

  1. Act as the main technical administrator of our ERP: configuration, user security, upgrades, database health, and the reporting replica
  1. Administer our SaaS and specialized platforms, including Monday.com, LIMS, QMS, MES and production-performance (OEE) systems, and others as we add them
  1. Be the escalation point for system issues. Diagnose problems across systems, work with vendors to fix them, and keep vendor relationships and contracts in good order
  1. Evaluate new software, lead implementations and upgrades, and retire systems we no longer need

Integrations and Development

  1. Design, build and support integrations between our satellite systems and the ERP, using REST APIs, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SQL and scripting
  1. Own the data pipelines that keep production, inventory, quality and financial data in sync, with monitoring and alerts so failures are caught before users notice
  1. Write and maintain SQL, Python and PHP code for integrations, reports and internal web tools
  1. Keep clear documentation for integrations and development

Partnership and Governance

  1. Partner with department leaders and teams to understand their business needs, then deliver the solution: configure an existing system, build an integration, or design a new tool on our internal web platform
  1. Support validation, change control and audit needs for systems that hold quality and compliance data
  1. Keep system documentation, runbooks and the system and integration inventory current

What Makes You a Great Fit

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  1. 10+ years in IT systems engineering, enterprise systems administration or a similar role, with at least 5 of those years hands-on with cloud infrastructure
  1. Strong Microsoft Azure experience: Azure SQL, VMs, networking, identity (Entra ID), and Azure Data Factory or a comparable integration and data pipeline tool
  1. Experience administering an ERP system, ideally in a manufacturing or distribution business
  1. A track record of building and supporting system integrations using REST APIs, SQL and at least one scripting language (Python, PowerShell or similar)
  1. Strong SQL skills, including writing queries, tuning performance and troubleshooting databases (Microsoft SQL Server / Azure SQL preferred)
  1. Working knowledge of VMware, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Windows Server and Linux administration
  1. Sound security habits: access control, secrets handling, backups and incident response
  1. Clear communication with non-technical users and leaders, and the ability to explain trade-offs in plain language
  1. The judgment to work independently and own outcomes, as a senior member of a small team
  1. Curiosity and adaptability: a habit of learning new technology quickly, and a real interest in using AI to change how work gets done

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience in an FDA-regulated or cGMP manufacturing environment, including computer system validation and audit support
  1. Hands-on experience with LIMS, QMS, MES or OEE platforms (such as Redzone)
  1. Experience with Databricks, Snowflake or other modern data platforms
  1. Web development experience (PHP, JavaScript) for internal tools and dashboards
  1. Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants, AI agents or large language model APIs
  1. Experience with Git and CI/CD
